Starting June 1, 2014, residential customers of Columbia Gas of Massachusetts (“Columbia Gas”) will access energy efficiency services from RISE Engineering, a division of Thielsch Engineering, Inc. Over the next two years, Columbia Gas will sponsor over 13,000 home energy assessments through the Mass Save® Home Energy Services Program.
The Home Energy Services program offers residential customers a no-cost home energy assessment, as well as incentives covering up to 75% or more of the cost of comprehensive weatherization and other efficiency upgrades. On behalf of Columbia Gas, RISE will provide home assessments and will arrange for the installation of recommended improvements for eligible customers.
“Our goal is providing a high-quality home energy assessment to every customer and offering customer rebates and financial incentives to make the installation of energy efficiency measures affordable,” said Elizabeth Cellucci, Director of Energy Efficiency for Columbia Gas of Massachusetts. “We have been privileged to work in close concert with Columbia Gas to deliver small business and multifamily services,” said Vincent R. Graziano, president of RISE. “We are excited by this opportunity to assist the company in serving its customers in 1-4 family homes.”
