Give the Gift of Warmth
Good Neighbor Energy Fund
THANK YOU for taking the time to learn more about the Good Neighbor Energy Fund and how you can play a key role in helping to keep your neighbors warm during these winter months.
In 1985, a cooperative effort between sponsoring Massachusetts energy companies, The Salvation Army and caring neighbors throughout the Commonwealth, the Good Neighbor Energy Fund was established. This Fund was established to assist people who are unable to meet a month’s energy expense because of temporary financial difficulty and who are not eligible for federal or state energy assistance.
Now, twenty nine years later, the Fund has been able to raise over $18.8 million and has assisted nearly 81,000 households thanks to people like you.
We ask that you consider "Giving the Gift of Warmth" online via The Good Neighbor Energy Fund website! Or, watch for the green donation envelope that is included in your Columbia Gas of Massachusetts monthly bill during the winter months. You can also send a check payable to "Good Neighbor Energy Fund" c/o The Salvation Army, 25 Shawmut Rd., Canton, MA 02021-1408. Your tax deductible donation goes straight to the fund and your contribution assists a Massachusetts family with the payment of a month's energy expense.
Again, we THANK YOU for helping to keep others warm.
