Two easy ways to learn more about natural gas safety

We’re proud to partner with firefighters, police officers and emergency management officials in our communities. We train hundreds of first responders each year so they know how to react during an emergency. We offer two programs for emergency responders.

Interactive online course

Provided by the Northeast Gas Association (NGA), this online course is a free, self-directed online training that provides emergency response personnel with the information they need to safely identify and respond to natural gas incidents. The training was developed with you in mind. The NGA partnered with local fire chiefs and training professionals and offers this course to earn additional training hours, at your own pace.
